The Storm Prediction Center has placed the entire region under the chance of a thunderstorm popping up, which could contain some lightning and also some hail. So well time out this storm system. Was added to the list of places under mandatory evacuations. Here are the numbers right now. About 50,000 acres have gone up. At least six buildings have been destroyed. There are a number of 6,000 buildings threatened and 2700 people in the process of evacuating. I can tell you right now that, um, um, an Evacuation Center has been set up at the county fairgrounds, frog town if you know where that is in angels camp and at the Jackson Rancheria casino. The chp has essentially closed highway 4 anywhere east of highway 49. So if you know anybody in the towns of murphys or in arnold or avery or Mountain Ranch or sheep ranch road or any of those communities, they are under mandatory evacuation and are told to get out now. Moving along to interstate 880 in oakland. Southbound traffic looks good all the way to san jose. Speaking of san jose 101, 280 and 85 are off to a good start. Its 5 00 lets go back to the desk. Now to the latest on the valley fire. Its the fourth worst wild fire in california history. 162 more homes burned down over the weekend. Now more than 1,000 homes have been destroyed. More than 75,000acres have burned. At least three peel have died. Four firefighters have been hurt. This fire is 69 contained. More than 4,000 firefighters are still battling those flames. Now some of the fire evacuees were allowed to go home overred weekend. At this check point at lower lake high school, sheriffs deputies told people their neighborhood was safe to go back to. Some of the people were frustrated when they could not go home. One thing that we have learned from this no matter what, we are not leaving home next time. I dont care if the fire is all around us. They are not letting us get back in our hou
