In an effort to save staff time and development costs by creating a uniform process to which town staff can refer, the Town Council on Monday agreed to waive certain fees for 100% permanently deed-restricted housing developments.
Prior to the decision, Housing Department and town staff had to spend a good amount of time assessing each project that came across their desks individually, rather than having a predetermined set of fees that would be waived for such qualifying developments, said Jackson/Teton County Housing Department Director April Norton.
