Some Baltimore restaurants close temporarily amid COVID-19 restrictions

Print Jayne Miller, WBAL-TV 11 Some restaurants in Baltimore City are closing, at least temporarily, because of coronavirus restrictions prohibiting in-person dining. The 11 News I-Team on Friday reviewed what the trends in coronavirus cases tell us about the city s strict restrictions. Two of the restaurants closing are long-time fixtures in Baltimore. Restaurant owner Jackie McCusker has operated in the Canton community for almost 30 years, but Thursday was the last day of business for Mama s On the Half Shell, at least temporarily. McCusker is moving her Canton businesses to her Towson location, where Baltimore County allows 50% capacity. The city allows only carryout due to the pandemic.
