Some restaurants in Baltimore City are closing, at least temporarily, because of coronavirus restrictions prohibiting in-person dining.
The 11 News I-Team on Friday reviewed what the trends in coronavirus cases tell us about the city's strict restrictions.
Two of the restaurants closing are long-time fixtures in Baltimore. Restaurant owner Jackie McCusker has operated in the Canton community for almost 30 years, but Thursday was the last day of business for Mama's On the Half Shell, at least temporarily. McCusker is moving her Canton businesses to her Towson location, where Baltimore County allows 50% capacity. The city allows only carryout due to the pandemic.
