we uncoupled those train cars, the two that had derailed and placed all of the 300 approximately 345 passengers on the four operational cars. those cars were taken to a station at the station. all 343 people i m sorry, 45 people are being looked at, were triaged. reporter: the national transportation safety board has launched an investigation in to the train derailment that happened a few hundred yards down this track. the board s top expert will be leading the probe. jackie jeter, president of the union that represents union workers released this statement. in response to this breaking development, we are looking in to the possible causes, safety for the public and our members remain our top priority. and the national transportation safety board team is already on the ground. in fact, they are at the station right now looking at the track, looking at the train to try to determine if this was an accident. to try to determine if some fail safe system from the metro ki
