Target, 1,500 more american servicemen and women are going back to iraq in numbers that will double those already on post. They are not intended as combat troops, but theyll be serving in an area surrounded by it. Their stated mission is to train up and stand up the Iraqi Armed Forces so that they can fight isis and other groups. And, yes, many of them are military advisers.
