On Oct. 23, 1995, Def Leppard played three concerts on three continents in one day. Def Leppard traveled more than 6000 miles, playing shows in Morocco, England and Canada, thus covering the continents Africa, Europe and North America.  Each concert lasted at least one hour, serving as promotion for the band’s new release, Vault Greatest.

On Oct. 16, 1968, The Jimi Hendrix Experience dropped the gravity-defying album Electric Ladyland. This would be the band’s most successful release, and it was also their only No.1 album. This would be their third and final studio album, and it was actually produced by Hendrix.  The album peaked at No. 1 on the U.S..
