Jace Wong, a 26-year-old resident of San Francisco, used the social media platform Kik to join an online chat group and to share child sexual abuse material, a federal complaint filed Wednesday claimed. Wong posted to the chat group video taken of a young girl in a bathroom at the daycare center and communicated directly with an undercover officer in the group Tuesday, the complaint alleged. During the chat with the officer, Wong sent the undercover officer the 36-second video. He was arrested the same day as he left the daycare center.

According to the complaint filed by the FBI, Jace Wong allegedly posted at least four videos and two images of partially nude young girls in a chatroom named “Younger love” on the social media platform Kik. Black-and-white tiling is visible in these videos, as are beige dividers between the bathrooms. In interactions with an undercover agent, Wong allegedly confirmed that he recorded the explicit footage himself.

Wong was arrested Tuesday, according to a complaint filed Wednesday in U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California. He faces a penalty of up to 10 to 20 years behind bars and a fine up to $250,000 plus restitution and other fees if convicted. Wong remains in Alameda County s Santa Rita Jail and he cannot be released on bail.
