ATMA conducts training on value-added food products

Dimapur, Aug. 22 (EMN): Skill training of rural youth (STRY) programme on the theme ‘Value-added food products for income generation’ was organised by ATMA Dimapur from August 16 to the 22nd at ATMA training hall, Dimapur. ATMA Dimapur in an update informed that the objective of the programme was to impart skill-based training to rural youths on agri-based vocational areas in agriculture and allied areas, to promote employment in rural areas and for creation of skilled manpower to perform farm and non-farm operations, under sub-mission on agriculture extension (SAME). A total of 15 female participants of 18 years and above registered for the training course. Course director and deputy project director (ATMA), Dimapur, Avitoli K Yeptho, in her welcome address stated that ATMA has been an integral part in technology dissemination.
