look how people react when they see him in the streets. strangers call out his name, embrace him, stop their cars in traffic just to say hello. did you plan a revolution? yeah. what was the plan? the plan was to get everyone in the street. along with a group of young egyptian activists he worked in his spare time to organize the january 25th protest that sparked a grass roots revolt. was this an internet revolution. definitely this is the internet revolution. i ll call it revolution 2.0. reporter: but after the third day of protests, secret police snatched ghonim off the streets. i was targeted, of course. they wanted me. what was going through your mind at that moment? i was super scared.
