ultimately. i know you were listening to the top of the show as we were talking about this new cnn reporting on investigators looking into a pool that was drained at mar-a-lago, and then flooded a room. it has the computer servers, that stored the surveillance footage, that we know prosecutors have subpoenaed. of course, still a lot of questions about that, but what was your reaction to hearing that? well, i think the prosecutors are right to be suspicious of trump and his capacity to obstruct justice. this particular episode frankly, struck me as a little rude goldberg-like. but not beyond the realm of possible. i don t remember the geography or the architecture enough to understand how draining a pool would have flooded this room, but look, you ve got to pursue every lead in a case the serious, there s no doubt about it. it may turn out not to represent anything, or it may, we don t know, there s a lot we don t know, and that may be part of it. yeah, a lot of questions remain. am
that first primary debate stage in august. how do you see these rules reshaping the race? i think we can dismiss the last one as meaningless. if you don t win, that goes out the window. the rest of it is designed to do two things. one, be able to show that you have real support, especially with that small dollar donor number. 40, 000, that significant. the other is they want to avoid what they had in 2016, where they have the kids table debate, and then the adults table thanksgiving dinner debate. how that really stilted things for republicans, it certainly allowed donald trump to rise in the polls, but they re mindful that having 17 people on the debate stage is problematic, and having 17 people in a day on two different debate stages, or back-to-back days, as problematic as well. do you think that s going to work, jennifer? it may, we will certainly throw out some of the candidates. we don t even know if donald trump is going to show up. he made one of the
in the months that followed, and activity by congress, the justice department, or whomever. there is really not a lot of that afterwards. andrew, obviously i should say that this is a civil lawsuit, julianna denies this investigation. it doesn t mean those claims are true. in this case, it s also possible that rudy giuliani said the things that he is alleged to have said to dunfee, and was just talking a big game that was not true. given all of that, it s a striking allegation to say that the president of the united states was in cahoots with his associates to sell pardons and split the profits. but yes, it is striking. it may, in fact be corroborated. to mike s point, you would expect the department of justice and georgia to be looking into this is a correct one. it remains to be seen whether this is a strong the breaks the camels back, because it s not the pardon is one allegation.

chosen not to watch the coronation at all, or anything, obviously won t do so. i think this is very much a matter of individual choice. and, you know, people will act according to the choices. it may, sort of, perhaps look quite odd, sort of, perhaps outside of the uk. but that is inevitable with an event like this, which is, you know, primarily a state event for the uk, but one attracting interest from around the world. this year s eurovision song contest is just two weeks away and will be followed particularly keenly by members of the lgbtq+ community inside ukraine including soldiers who ve been fighting on the front line against russia. jack lamport has been talking to some of them. these soldiers have been putting their lives on the line,
