fault of the democrats and republicans. the source of confusion is the president of the united states. he is always playing five sides of every issue. sometimes he likes to spit ball and throw things up against the wall and see how it works. if it doesn t work well, he will change course. he has gone around in circles for the past couple of years since he took office. not before. he was clear before he took office that it was a wall. he talked about border security and other times about a fence and other times about a concrease wall. we saw prototypes that looked like a concrete barrier. the president will say the border is being overrun and that s why we need more money and other times he said i fixed the problem and the border crossings are way down and the problem is taken care of. what knows where the president is on this. it depends on what day it is. he wants more money for border security and a barrier of some kind at some point along the
the nfl did not. the question is can they find some middle ground or will the players say no, not if the president is going to take credit for it. it doesn t make much sense for the nfl to try to jump in the middle and grandfather in. it doesn t work well. then the public backlash would be potentially swung in the other direction where you would have a lot of pushback against them. i mean, i don t think the players will say okay, the nfl sent a directive down, we re going to stop now. that s not going to happen. you re lynx getting playing into the president s hands. if there s actual punishment you could see that. the thing i keep going back with, when the president said that in alabama, there were maybe four or five nfl players kneeling. not in the league. not in the nfl anymore. and for other reasons. but having to do with the way the game is played now. and the president revived this whole controversy. and yes, he got away, because cultural little this is where the country
and in term of assimilation and in term of getting everyone together, i know there are areas in the country, i see it. i have many, many spanish. i have many hispanics working for me. many, many hispanics working for me. there are areas in the country where you go in and there is no i mean there is no english at all. right. you can say that to those people. they don t assimilate. it doesn t work well. so i think that, you know, he made a big deal with the spanish. i brought up the point, it s a point and some people agree with me, a lot of people. a number of he heditorials were written. i know some people probably don t. but this is a country and we re based on english. and if you want people to assimilate and go on to great heights which everybody wants, you have to learn english. so donald, i m going to tell a story and i ask that you not reveal any names here. i don t want to embarrass anybody. but several years ago we knew of somebody, a friend of ours that
message. you are right he will. do you believe he will order the code red? you know, jeb bush, it sounds like he s saying, i m angry, i m high energy. you can t say it, you have to be it. amanda is right, it doesn t come off as authentic. jeb s selling point is he was a happy warrior. it doesn t work well. frankly, it s benefiting other candidates, i think. marco rubio, i think, looks more sober when it comes to trump. jeb, honestly looks like he s setting his hair on fire. walker looks more sober when it comes to trump. i think jeb, you know, jeb is the front-runner for the sort of establishment wing so he s doing what he thinks he has to do. but, i think we should take a breath. it s august. or september. it s september! 2015. we have 14 months.
intervention is needed, and that is what we support, and hillary does as well. and jeb bush told me that same thing when i interviewed him in spanish last month on telemundo and here on msnbc. there has to be changes. congress would have to change the law on puerto rico. let s see what happens. melissa, it s always great seeing you. thank you for being with me. thank you very much. gracias. republican candidate donald trump got everyone upset when he said on thursday everyone in america should speak english. he doubled down when he talked on morning joe. they don t assimilate and it doesn t work well. i think he made a big deal with the spanish, and i brought up the point it s a point and some people agree with me. a lot of editorials were written that agreed with me, but i know a lot of people probably don t.
