LAHORE: PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sunday said the Khokhar brothers were an important asset to the party and they will never part ways with Nawaz Sharif even if the government demolished their residence the Khokhar Palace.
Comparing Banigala and Khokhar Palace, Maryam tweeted that one law was for the powerful that legalised the illegal Banigala palace, while the other law was for the opponents whose houses were not safe from destruction. She saluted all her party companions facing ‘injustices’ just because of their loyalty to Nawaz Sharif. She said every oppression will be held accountable.
Meanwhile, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communication Dr Shahbaz Gill Sunday tweeted that the notorious gangster group’s Khokhar Palace had now been demolished. “Congratulations to Usman Buzdar, Lahore Police and administration.”

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that those making anti-military statements and attacking the national institutions would not be spared.
Speaking with the digital media representatives PM Imran Khan said that opposition is targeting military leadership and pressurizing institutions to protect their corruption and loot.
He said that they are telling the army to overthrow an elected democratic government. In the past the military leadership was criticized during the martial laws, but now, in the democratic era, why are they targeting the military.

Since the evacuation of 33 students from Wuhan City, in February 2019, the Ministry has been carrying out the task of repatriation for almost a year now and to date 60,470 Sri Lankans, composed of pilgrims, students, Officials of Government or Armed Forces, migrant workers, short term visitors, sea farers and cases on compassionate grounds have been repatriated from 137 countries by the Ministry through the Sri Lanka Missions overseas. Despite the worsening global situation triggered by the Covid pandemic, the process of repatriation of Sri Lankans, one of the most pressing challenges at hand has been judiciously spear headed by the Foreign Ministry under the directive of Minister Dinesh Gunawardana, enduring insurmountable challenges overseas amid lockdowns, isolations, curfews and closure of air space, to ensure swift return of Sri Lankans who are in distress.
