LAHORE: A group of Pakistan Muslim League-N disgruntled MPAs said on Tuesday they had witnessed the cowardice of the PML-N leadership for themselves and now they would tender their resignations only when they would be shown resignations of other PML-N assembly members.
Addressing a press conference here, they said they had seen “Aar ya Paar” [decisive moment] of Maryam Nawaz, and now they did not believe in her verbosity.
PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz had said at a public rally in Lahore last month that the PDM rally in Lahore would be a decisive one. “On December 13, it will be ‘Aar ya paar’,” she had said.

ISLAMABAD: Adviser to the Prime Minister on Accountability and Interior Mirza Shahzad Akbar on Sunday unveiled that the government had recovered Rs210 billion from land grabbers, adding that 36 of these people belong to the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
Illegally occupied state land worth billions of rupees had been retrieved from PML-N’s stalwarts, including Khurram Dastagir, Senator Chaudhary Tanveer, Javed Hashmi, Khawaja Asif, Abid Sher Ali, Malik Saiful Malook Khokhar, Daniyal Aziz and Javed Latif, he said.
Addressing a press conference here at the Press Information Department (PID), he said that these people had been using political influences to occupy the government property, which caused huge losses to the national exchequer.

Tauheed Akhtar, PML-N member and former Sialkot mayor, has said that a property in the city was demolished because party leader Khawaja Asif s son holds shares in it.
A three-story community centre was demolished Sunday on the Sialkot Development Authorityâs (SDA) orders. The building was located in a private housing scheme, in which Asifâs son holds a 20% stake.
