We have details live from oaklands lake merritt station. Reporter this new train patrol started this evening, bart says it is not systemwide but is done Crime Statistics and calls for service. It is likely a crime will be committed. Reporter bart describes the high visibility deployment of 12 new officers dedicated to walking platforms and writing trains is a shift in strategy. The officers will be responding to all levels of crime.
