Back in the Fall, the town of Kiawah Island started on Phase 2 of the project, with the expectation of finishing in December. Now, they hope to be finished with Phase 2, which is mostly landscaping work, by the middle of February. This includes removing overgrown vegetation to improve the appearance of the marsh from the parkway and to enhance the pedestrian paths along the parkway.
