With the 2022 soccer season in the books, and the 2023 season right on the horizon, let's take a look at the all the Clemson men’s soccer program alumni playing professionally, both here and abroad. MLS Oskar Agren - Class of 2021 San Jose Earthquakes - Defender In his debut season with San Jose, Agren earned three starts against Sporting Kansas City and Inter Miami. With 250 total minutes played and a 91.8% accurate pass percentage, Oskar hopes to build off of his first season in the MLS with more success in Northern California this season. Joe Bendik - Class of 2009 Philadelphia Union - Goalkeeper Joe Bendik is in his 10th season playing in the MLS and has amassed nearly 16,000 total minutes with nearly 200 games started as the last line of defense for five different MLS teams. Bendik started his MLS career with the Portland Timbers allowing only eight goals in his debut MLS season back in 2012. Bendik did not see any action in the 2022 season. Luis Felipe Fernan

It was a historic day for the Clemson men’s soccer program, as Philip Mayaka (#3), Kimarni Smith (#4) and Justin Malou (#27) were all taken in the opening round of Thursday’s 2021 MLS SuperDraft. Today’s draft marked the first time in program history that three Clemson players were selected in the first round, in addition to it also being the first time two Tigers were taken within the draft’s top-five picks. During Head Coach Mike Noonan’s 11-year tenure at the helm of Clemson’s program, the Tigers have had 17 players selected in the annual MLS SuperDraft, with seven of those players having been drafted during the past three seasons. “It’s a historic day in the long history and tradition of our soccer program,” reflected Noonan following the draft. “I’m very proud of the players, and to have seven players drafted in the last three years speaks really well to Clemson and our program and the steps our staff has been able to take in developing our
CLEMSON, S.C. - Forty student-athletes and nine students in support roles and spirit squads are set to earn degrees during Clemson University’s Commencement ceremonies on Dec. 22. The ceremonies are set to take place in Littlejohn Coliseum. Nine athletic programs are represented, including five members of the 2021 NCAA Champion Men’s Soccer team, three members of the 2021 ACC Regular Season Champion softball program, and 20 members of the 2022 ACC Champion football program. 2021 Softball ACC Player and Rookie of the Year Valerie Cagle graduates in Health Science, while Isaiah Reid, who scored a pair of goals in the 2021 National Championship match, graduates in sports communications. Two-time softball All-ACC selection Alia Logoleo is also set to walk. Four-time ACC Champions and 2018 National Champions B.T.
