A Family Bingo Night fundraiser for a local boy, Bryar Phelps, who was injured in a vehicle accident and is now in critical care, is scheduled for Saturday, June 22 at 5 p.m. in the Carson Mall Shopping Center. All proceeds from the event will go toward Bryar and his family.
With an estimated 2,300 students attending Carson High School in 2017-18, plenty of clubs and courses can help pave the way toward a smooth school year.
Updates and changes to school zones have arrived in the Carson City area. School zones for Bordewich Bray, Carson Middle, Carson High, Eagle Valley, Empire, Fremont, Fritsch, Mark Twain, Pioneer High and Seeliger have been extended from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Friday.
Carson City will be filled with the roar of engines from police motorcycles to classic cars and hot rods beginning Thursday and lasting through the weekend.
