Kargil, May 08 (Scoop News)-Sub Divisional Magistrate Zanskar Sonam Dorjay along with OC Project Yojak Capt. Aviral Tripathi, Assistant Executive Engineer, JEs, PWD, Tehsil Supply Officer Zanskar and Sarpanch of Kargaik on Saturday visited Lungnak Block to redress the problems of the valley.
During the tour, the visiting officials identified land for the establishment of New Diets and RCC Camps for the newly sanctioned project Yojak for the construction of Nimo Padum–Darcha (NPD) road. The land was identified at village Anmu, Cha, Kuru, Kargaik, Lakhan and Sinkula Top.
En route, SDM Zanskar also reviewed the progress of ongoing works of Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM). Public delegations also met the SDM at Kargaik, Tangze, Kuru and Cha.
The residents raised various issues of their respective villages including land composition, link roads, irrigation canals, completion of roads sanctioned under various schemes and opening of LPG Gas Sale Centre at Kargaik.
