Washington brewery production report for 2020 By washingtonbeerblog on April 7, 2021 at 6:05 PM
Beer Production Totals Drop 16 Percent
Yesterday I shared news from the Brewers Association that craft beer production in the U.S. realized a 9 percent decline in 2020. Today I am reporting that here in Washington production dropped by 16 percent.
My reporting is not related to yesterday’s report from the Brewers Association. This report is based on data provided by the Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board. Specifically, my information comes from the WSLCB’s brewery production report for the year 2020, as compared to the same report for 2019. My reporting includes all breweries in Washington, including the ones that do not meet the Brewers Association’s definition of craft brewer and the ones that primarily produce seltzer, as noted below.
