Snow will continue to fall and accumulate into the evening hours with heavy snow possible in parts of central iowa from 3 pm to 8 pm. After this, the snow will start to taper off from west to east and finally end shortly after midnight for much of central iowa. Most areas in central and Northern Iowa will see more than 6 of snow with some locations getting more than 8 possibly. Lower amounts are expected in southern counties because of warmer temps and some rain mixing in.
