Prof. S.S. Sharma, the first speaker, deliberated on the topic of “Integrity in Scientific Research: Guidelines and Strategies to Foster Integrity”. He discussed the misconduct in research like fabrication, falsification, plagiarism etc, and talked about the other forms of violations of good research practice like sale and purchase of articles, manipulating authorship, publishing in predatory journals, misuse of different materials etc. He talked about the role of International and Indian Agencies to foster integrity in research through plagiarism software and various digital libraries like Shodh Ganga, ORCHID.etc. He encouraged young researchers to follow the rules to ensures research ethics and focus on quality research work

CUPB National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell and Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC) conducted this programme under the patronage of Vice Chancellor Prof. Raghavendra P. Tiwari. The Invited Speakers of this webinar were Dr. Chetana Sachidanandan, Principal Scientist, Institute of Genomics and Integrative Biology (CSIR-IGIB), New Delhi and Dr. Neeta Doshi, Founder, Rain and Clean Envioro Tech Pvt. Ltd. Along with Webinar NSS Volunteers presented a special choreography performance on ‘Gender Equality and Women Empowerment’ to mark the occasion.
