Greenock man on curfew for alleged break-in caught wandering streets at 3am

Police found Craig Hill who is on multiple bail orders intoxicated and staggering around on Murdieston Street. Hill, 23, was on a restriction to be at home between 7pm and 7am but his aunt had evicted him from her house hours earlier for being drunk, the sheriff court was told. Prosecutor Lindy Scaife said: It was noted that he was heavily under the influence of alcohol or drugs. His speech was slurred, he was unsteady on his feet and he had white residue on his mouth. The court was told that Hill was on bail for allegations of housebreaking, attempted housebreaking, attempted fraud, vandalism, breach of the peace and other claimed breaches of bail.
