New Delhi [India], December 15 (ANI): A special court in Delhi has dismissed an application seeking cancellation of non-bailable warrants (NBWs) issued against Shravan Gupta, the former managing director of realty major Emmar MGF, in connection with a money laundering case related to the Agusta Westland VVIP chopper scam.
Special CBI Judge Arvind Kumar, in an order passed on December 5, observed that even during present proceedings, the applicant did not express intention to appear before Enforcement Directorate to join the investigation. He also did not appear before this court when the application was taken up for hearing. It only shows that the applicant is not willing to cooperate in the investigation, the court noted and refused to cancel the NBWs, observing it was without any merit .
