Man, hung him in a tree. Who would do something this hideous . In my vision, a brownskinned man in a gray casket, i couldnt tell who he was. And thats when i began to call all my children. When i think about the hurt my mom went through, i cant talk about it. The mobile Police Department just didnt want to believe that mobile would still have klan in it. But they did. The fact that klansmen lived across the street from where this happened, it was something that the Police Officers found more to be a coincidence. Michael donald was an innocent, good samaritan, not a thug. The likely suspects were identified. But we had the wrong people. We felt the cops and the klan working hand in hand. Were calling upon mobiles black community to be as cool as possible in response to this murder. Let there be no doubt, the klan is behind this. But you gotta prove it first. The body of a black man has been found hanging from a tree in mobile, alabama. Lynching is a tool to control and oppress black peo
In the 1920s, there was a Strong Black Community here in tulsa called greenwood. These people were the core of black entrepreneurship. People call it The Black Wall Street. Greenwood was like putting harlem, Bourbon Street, and Chocolate City all in one place. But White Tulsans talked about greenwood as Little Africa or [bleep] land. Tulsa was a powder keg, needing only something to set the community alight. Between 100 and 300 people, most of them black, were killed. Today we call it a massacre. They were hastily trying to get rid of the bodies by dumping them in mass graves around the city. We have tulsans of an undetermined number who were murdered. It should not have taken 99 years. Anybody who thinks that this crime scene is not going to speak doesnt have the ears to hear. The ancestors are awake and the earth is shaking. I came to tulsa when i was in the sixth grade. So thats been, whew, i dont know how many years. My mother is from oklahoma. There was a Strong Black Community in

Dale and it also has one of the highest percentages of latinowned businesses of any u. S. City. Being here is like being in a latinx city in the middle of the u. S. , and cubans were the first latinos to arrive and imprint their culture here. And since then, latinos from All Over The World have made miami their home. In fact, if you were to buy a latin compass, the needle would point to miami. And i have tons of history here, too, yall. My show ghetto klown was done here at the Jackie Gleason theater. I even shot my directorial debut, critical thinking, right here. I spend so much time in miami, they think im the fifth golden girl. And miamis got unpredictable weather, different cultures, opposing political views, and maybe most importantly, dueling espresso recipes. Speaking of which, im going to meet a few locals for some cafecito in a little bit, and were goi
