Together, president carter looks at us as the center. We provide him with data, research, camaraderie, advice, and we work really hard for him as well. The refugee act is an amendment to the earlier immigration and nationality act and the refugee assistance act. The goal was to provide permanent and consistent admission to people who were suffering in other nations, and to provide asylum. That was the whole point of it. This is what makes it so exciting to be here
