High-speed internet ban in J&K extended till Jan 22

New Delhi, Jan 09: The ban on high-speed 3G and 4G internet services has been extended in Jammu and Kashmir till January 22, barring Ganderbal and Udhampur districts.
High-speed mobile data services are misused for infiltration and for coordinating terror activities , Home Department said in its order. It is absolutely necessary to do so, in the interest of the sovereignty.integrity of India, it added.
