Located on the west side of the metro Detroit area, two interesting - and completely different - cities are waiting to be explored. We spent a Michigan’s Best Day in downtown Northville and Novi, and found all sorts of fun things to do, and delicious things to eat and drink.
Our best day starts at a local cafe for breakfast, includes shopping at both local and national retailers, some incredible fried chicken and freshly-made ice cream, zooming around the track in a go-kart, a little history and art, and a stop at a brewery.

We are taking nominations now, through Friday at midnight, for Michigan’s Best Inland Lake. We are looking for lakes that have public access, and are not including any of our truly Great Lakes in this search.
