Newark College and Newark and Sherwood District Council welcome new starters through government Kickstart scheme

Newark College has welcomed a new starter through the governmentâs Kickstart scheme.
Charlie Warrington is a trainee marketing and clerical assistant.
Kickstart provides funding to create job placements for 16 to 24 year olds in receipt of Universal Credit who potentially could be at risk of long-term unemployment.

The scheme offers six-month paid jobs with local employers, funded by the government, giving them the chance to gain experience.
