Police have launched a murder investigation after the body of a man with a stab would to his chest was found in a reservoir.
Officers were called to Drift Service Reservoir near Penzance on Thursday following reports of a body in the water.
The victim, named by police as Edward Hinds, was confirmed dead at the scene despite efforts by the police to revive him with CPR.
Mr Hinds was originally from the Midlands but had been living in the Lelant area for the last few weeks, police said tonight.
When emergency crews started CPR they discovered the wound to his chest.

The body of Edward Hinds, 37, was recovered from a reservoir near Penzance, Cornwall on February 18.
A 50-year-old man arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with this death remains in custody.
