The Victoria Police Missing Persons Squad has significant concerns about the welfare of an Epping woman who has not been since since Monday.

Ju Kelly Zhang, 33, was last seen at her home on Winchester Avenue, wearing a pink pyjama top, shorts and bare feet.

Police have charged a man with the murder of mother of four Kobie Parfitt after discovering her body in bushland.
Brendan James Prestage, 31, of Wendouree - just outside of Ballarat in country Victoria - was charged on Wednesday just weeks after police scoured bushland along the Pittong-Snake Valley Road in Snake Valley.
The Missing Persons Squad detectives, with the assistance of police from the Search and Rescue Squad, only began searching the area this month after receiving a tip-off that she may have been murdered.

Detectives have discovered human remains in a mine shaft close to Ballarat in the search for missing mother Kobie Parfitt.
Missing Person Squad and Search and Rescue Squad detectives on Tuesday located the body in Snake Valley, a town in central Western Victoria about 27 kilometres west of Ballarat.

Ms Parfitt was last seen at a property on Hickman Street in Ballarat on April 28. Police have not yet formally identified the remains.
