"RIP to the legend Len Dawson," Kansas City Chiefs Quarterback Patrick Mahomes tweeted. "The legacy and impact you made on Kansas City will live on forever."
battling covid a decision his former quarterback admired. he wants to do something to make the world a better place. larry is showing everyone inside the nfl and outside of it that you can step up and make a difference. was it the toughest thing you ve ever done yeah. i like to think i m a mentally tough person, but in 2020, i was coming back home sometimes to my girlfriend and i was crying, because what else can you do? what did you learn? medicine is an art more than a profession i m pretty sure i m going to be a better physician because of what i went through in 2020. reporter: he will always be the lineman who worked on the front lines of covid kevin tibbles, nbc news that s nightly news for this tuesday. thank you for watching, everyone i am lester holt please take care of yourself and each other. good night
that s the only thing nfl owners respond to, the imminent threat of litigation. what about the change of owners down the road? is that the only thing that s going to change things up inside the nfl, to have more diversity amongst the owners? yeah, the problem with the idea of more diversity among owners is there are 32 billionaire owners in the nfl. i believe there are seven billionaire black people in all of america, and we know all of their names. right? like they re just aren t enough black or brown people with the level of capital we re discussing in order to think the move is going to be to change that. even if you do change that, you don t make a billion dollars by being good to people. the issue is, we have to have laws in place that legitimately threaten people when they behave poorly or do something that is out of line. this is a systemic incident of poor behavior. so changing who the people are is not going to be what has to happen because we say this about race in every

against the woke culture, they don t like what they saw. because what they saw was really ugly. you know, i think that s a really good point. it shows us moving forward. but i wonder inside the nfl, you pointed thought is a very black league when it come to the people doing the work and like taking the concussions and getting heads, you know, busted and risking injure as they get older. the answer is more diversity. of as we have more diverse people in management and positions of power that that is the change you need. you always are going to have one or two of the gruden guys. that is part of the change. it s not like it s open to the public and everyone gets to pick an nfl team. they hand select the people that are involved. they re going to always be guys
