Nelson Mandelaâs grandson Inkosi Mandla Mandela has firmly denied allegations made by former president Jacob Zuma that he has joined those who want the former president prosecuted at any cost.
On Tuesday, Inkosi Mandela said the claims which are contained in the 23-page leaked speaking notes of Zuma when he met with the ANC Top Six on March 8 are simply not true.
In the notes, which have since become widely available to the public, Zuma told the Cyril Ramaphosa-led Top Six that he had no faith that the party would help him fight the Zondo Commission, and his perceived persecution was as a result of some of his comrades stabbing him in the back.

Durban - Following claims by former President Jacob Zuma that Inkosi Mandla Mandela, the grandson of Nelson Mandela, has joined a malicious campaign by Zumaâs enemies who want him go to his corruption trial without financial resources, the ANC MP has responded.
In the 23-page leaked speaking notes made by Zuma when he met with the ANC top six on March 8 this year, he claimed that Inkosi Mandela went to Qatar to plead with Sheikh Tamim Ibn Al Hamad Al Thani, Emir (ruler) of the oil-rich gulf kingdom to end their friendly ties with Zuma.

Durban - The ANC says it does not see a need to be dragged into the now public speaking notes that former president Jacob Zuma used when he met with the Top 6 early last month.
While the notes have outraged others, the governing party’s national spokesperson, Pule Mabe, said they met with Zuma and thereafter publicly communicated the outcome of the meeting, which appeared to have been tense.
Mabe’s assertion comes as the notes by Zuma have been leaked to the public and caused a sensation as he made some serious allegations against party leaders like Cyril Ramaphosa and Inkosi Mandla Mandela, among others.
