Former Spurs manager, Jose Mourinho will join Serie A side, AS Roma on a three-year contract at the end of the season according to a statement on Giallorossi’s website.
Mourinho was fired as Spurs boss after a string of poor results that all but ruled out the North London side from a highly coveted top-4 finish.
Mourinho will replace his fellow Portuguese compatriot, Paulo Fonseca who will step down at the end of the 2020/2021 Serie A season after joining Roma in 2019.
The statement reads: “AS Roma are delighted to announce an agreement has been reached with Jose Mourinho to become the club’s new head coach.

Mr Dare, while expressing his sadness over the untimely death of Ms Umoren, commended all those who made efforts to save her life and ultimately exposed her attackers.

Chairman of Uruan Local Government Area, Iniobong Ekpenyong has denied claims that the suspect in the murder of a Job-Seeker who initially went missing before being found dead, Uduak Friday Akpan, confessed to him before escaping to Calabar as alleged by the police.
Akpan is a prime suspect in the murder of a 26-year-old graduate of the University of Uyo, Iniubong Umoren, who he lured with a job offer only to rape, kill and bury her in a shallow grave.

The family of late job seeker, Miss Iniubong Umoren, 26, reportedly murdered in cold blood at the weekend, has appealed to the Akwa Ibom Government to ensure that the perpetrator(s) of the dastard act are made to face the long arms of the law.
The deceased’s elder brother, Ukeme Umoren, made the appeal when Gov. Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom paid an unscheduled visit to the family at Ndot village in Oruk Anam Local Government Area to commiserate with them.
While welcoming the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Dr. Emmanuel Ekuwem who represented the governor, lamented that they lost their parents while in secondary schools and had to struggle on their own to get western education up to university level, explaining that the late Iniubong was waiting for her call up letter to proceed for national youth service when her life was snuffed off.

The lower legislative chamber passed the resolution on Tuesday following the adoption of a motion sponsored by Unyime Idem, a lawmaker from Akwa Ibom.
Umoren, a female job seeker, was declared missing after leaving home to meet a Twitter user over a potential job offer in Akwa Ibom.

Following an investigation into the matter, the state police command
arrested a suspect, Uduak Akpan, who was said to have confessed to sexually and physically assaulting the deceased.
Akpan was said to have subsequently buried the victim in a shallow grave in his father’s house.
