Municipal Affairs and Transportation Minister Ric McIver says the province is working closely with City of Calgary officials to hash out “technical issues” related to the planned construction of the Green Line LRT project.
McIver struck a more conciliatory tone when discussing the project Friday compared to late last year, when his office stated that current plans amount to a “train line to nowhere.”

He said Alberta Transportation officials were “working co-operatively” with city staff “to get to a place where we can proceed” with the project.
