This is the fifth major event that wise has organized on the issue of the integration of women in the military. I would like to recognize and thank ellen, the director of the combat Integration Initiative for her leadership on this issue. The combat Integration Initiative really has a very simple objective, and that is to support the successful integration of women in the military, and support the policy that lifts the ban on women serving in combat positions.
