Srinagar: The district administration Srinagar Monday established seven COVID Care Centres with 1300 bed capacity to accommodate the increasing patient footfall within the district.
The officials said that the rush of patients who are tested positive for COVID-19 has increased at the Valley hospitals especially within the Srinagar City.
They said it has been observed that the number of COVID positive cases in Srinagar district have shown a steep rise in the last few days, which spurs the requirement for augmentation of infrastructure to accommodate increasing patient footfall.
Officials said that a total of seven COVID Care Centres have been established at Kashmir University Zakura Campus, Hyderpora facility, NIT Srinagar, Indoor Stadium Haft Chinar Srinagar, Marriage Hall Sanatnagar, Haj House Bemina and IMPA Hostel MA Road.
