India News: There are rumours of Kamal Nath quitting the Congress party, but Congress leaders have dismissed them as incredulous. Digvijaya Singh and Jitu Patwari both rubbished the rumours and called them media creations. Kamal Nath, who has a long history with the Congress party and the Nehru-Gandhi family, is in Delhi amid speculation of a possible switch to the BJP.
Congress leaders from Madhya Pradesh, however, stressed on the decades-old ties between Kamal Nath and the party to dismiss the speculation that he may cross over to the BJP
Amid speculation that he could cross over to the BJP, Kamal Nath arrived in New Delhi on Saturday afternoon and said if there would be any such thing, he would inform the media first.
