Narmada Hydroelectric Development Corp. Ltd. (NHDC) will construct a pumped storage power project to meet peak-hour energy demand in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh.
A 525 MW Pumped Storage Power Project has been allotted by New and Renewable Energy Department, Government of Madhya Pradesh to NHDC.
This Pumped Storage Power Project will be constructed using the existing reservoirs (Indira Sagar and Omkareshwar) of Indira Sagar Project.
