A trio of Indiana Sires Stakes divisions for pacing colts and geldings was the featured attraction at Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino on Friday, Aug. 18 two $67,500 divisions for the two-year-old pacing colts and one $96,000 division for the three-year-old competitors. It was a good night for sire Tellitlikeitis as his progeny swept all three divisions.
Teelatini continued her winning ways at Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino after she captured the featured event of the evening, the $133,000 Indiana Sires Stakes for two-year-old pacing fillies, on Thursday (Aug. 17). Stopping the timer in 1:51.1, Teelatini recorded her fourth straight stakes win and established a new lifetime best with driver Peter Wrenn in the bike.
Indiana-sired freshmen trotters were the featured attraction at Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino on Wednesday (Aug. 16) as the evening’s 14-race card was highlighted by the third round of Indiana Sires Stakes action for the two-year-old trotters.
Ponda Warrior delivered a win for the hometown team as he burst onto the scene late to post a 17-1 shocker in the $310,000 Dan Patch Stakes for free-for-all pacers on Friday night (Aug. 11) at Hoosier Park.
An Indiana Sires Stakes champion at two, Buzzsaw Russ will try to continue his recent success with a victory in Saturday's (Aug. 12) $300,000 Carl Milstein Memorial at MGM Northfield Park.
