Stakeholders meeting focuses on amplification of Covid-19 vaccination

DIMAPUR Momentum Routine Immunisation Transformation and Equity Project with its empanelled NGO partner Indian Social Responsibility Network, in collaboration with the state Health & Family Welfare department, organised a one-day stakeholders’ meeting with the HoDs and teachers from different schools under Kohima at Hotel Ura, on March 8. The state-level stakeholders’ meeting was held on the theme ‘To amplify the Government’s Covid-19 vaccination,’ an update stated. District Immunisation Officer (DIO), Kohima, Dr. Khrievilhou Nakhro, in his keynote address, expressed gratitude to the schools for the immense support rendered to the Health department in carrying out vaccination drives in the schools in the past two years. The immunisation officer said the vaccination drives conducted in the schools were successful only because of the co-operation and support from the school authorities and parents. Health dept conducts RCH camp in Zhadima

Dimapur Office of the chief medical officer (CMO) along with Kohima district health society under the department of Health and Family Welfare conducted a reproductive child health (RCH) camp in Zhadima village on March 24. Speaking at a short function, the deputy CMO, Dr. Imchatoshi, called upon the public to avail all the services and also take part in various group discussions for a healthy life style and to practice better health seeking behaviour. He expressed expectation that the villagers would derive maximum profit from the health camp, an update from CMO office stated.
