Washington DC: The Joe Biden administration has appointed several Indian-Americans at key posts in the Energy Department. Among those who have been given key positions, include Tarak Shah as the Chief of Staff of the Energy Department, which makes him the first Indian-American to serve in that position. Shuchi Talati will be taking over as the Chief of Staff in the Office of Fossil Energy. Tanya Das has been appointed as the Chief of Staff to the Office of Science even as Narayan Subramanian will take over the position of Legal Adviser in Office of General Counsel.
