Gauhati High Court Rejects Bail Plea of NDFB Leader Ranjan Daimary
NDFB(R) militant leader Ranjan Daimary s bail plea has been rejected by the Gauhati High Court after he and four other accused challenged the conviction order.

Guwahati : The Gauhati High Court has rejected the bail plea of the 5 accused in connection with the October 30th, 2008 Assam serial bomb blasts. Assam militant leader and the Chief of National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) Ranjan Daimary, amongst the other accused, was the mastermind behind the serial bomb blasts that claimed over a hundred lives and injured over four hundred people. The bomb blasts took place in Guwahati, Kokrajhar, Bongaigaon, and Barpeta Road, totally shaking up the conscience of Assam to its very core.
