New Delhi: There are reports of a fresh physical brawl having taken place between Indian and Chinese troops, this time at Naku La in Sikkim, thousands of kilometres away from the ongoing standoff at the Line of Actual Control in eastern Ladakh.
Reports said the clash took place three days ago last week when the troops of the People’s Liberation Army attempted to intrude inside Indian territory.
The Indian Army troops foiled the intrusion bid and physical clashes ensued, in which soldiers from both sides were reported to be injured.
Indian, Chinese soldiers clash again along LAC; 20 PLA soldiers injured
some Chinese soldiers tried to move into the Indian territory. The exact area where the clash took place is not confirmed. The situation at the point of clash, however, is now said to be stable but tense.

After a gap of over two-and-half months, India and China on Sunday held the ninth round of military talks specifically focusing on ways to move forward on the long-negotiated disengagement process in eastern Ladakh as thousands of their troops remained deployed at friction points under freezing conditions. The Corps Commander-level meeting began at around 10 AM at the Moldo border point on the Chinese side of the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in eastern Ladakh and was continuing till after 9 PM, sources said.

Amid the ongoing standoff between India and China in Ladakh, China has constructed a new village in Arunachal Pradesh, which happens to be around 4.5 km within the Indian territory. Situated at the banks of Tsari Chu River in the Upper Subansiri district, the village comprises of around 101 settlements and has been reportedly built in last one year.
In the satellite images dating November 1, 2020, one can clearly see the village. However, a similar image from August 26, 2019 does not show any such construction, indicating the fact that the village was built in one year.
