DDC Poonch reviews physical, financial progress in key sectors

Share Poonch: District Development Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet, today chaired a meeting of line departments to review the physical and financial progress achieved in key sectors under the last year capex budget and discuss the proposals for the current year plan. Functionaries of PWD, RDD, Jal Shakti, Youth and Sports, School Education, Health, Irrigation and Flood Control & PDD departments attended the meeting. At the outset, the Chief Planning Officer briefed about the department wise Physical and Financial achievement made under Capex Budget for the year 2020-2021. Later, the Deputy Commissioner took a detailed review of physical and financial achievements under different schemes being implemented by Education, Health, PWD, PHE, PDD, RDD and other departments under District Capex Budget and MGNREGA for the year 2020-2021.

DC Poonch reviews COVID-19 control measures in District

Share Poonch: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet today chaired a meeting to review the control measures in view of rise in Corona Virus cases. The meeting, in consonance with government guidelines, decided to take strong measures to enforce SoPs including social distancing and using of masks. The Deputy Commissioner expressed grave concern over the surge in COVID-19 cases in the District and asked the concerned not to show any laxity in enforcing protocols. The Deputy Commissioner discussed the status of ongoing vaccination drive in the District. He stressed upon the Revenue Officers, including Sub Divisional Magistrates and Tehsildars to immediately call meeting of their subordinate staff to rope in patwaries, Asha Workers, Anganwari Workers, Teachers etc and VLWs for mass spreading awareness among common masses about COVID protocols. He exhorted upon the Chief Medical Officer and Medical Superintendent District Hospital to intensify the vaccination drive with special thrust

DDC Poonch reviews functioning of District Hospital at chairs RKS meet

Apr 4, 2021 The DC took a comprehensive review of the functioning of the health institution. He approved various activities including, procurement of digital X-Ray Films and wages for need base casual labourers, Contingency materials for hospital, P.O.L for Gen Set, maintenance of electricity and Sanitation, procurement of drugs for poor and accident patients, procurement of Lab reagents and office exigencies, minor repair and renovation of hospital building, repairing and P.O.L for ambulances. The DC directed the medical superintendent to full fill all the codal formalities for the procurement of different items and preferably through GEM portal. The nominated citizen, who attended the meeting, pointed out non-functioning of 24×7 Jan Aushadi Kendra, auctioning of parking area, completion of circular road, completion of passenger shed and regulated movement of attendant in District Hospital Poonch.
