Share Poonch: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Inder Jeet today chaired a meeting to review the control measures in view of rise in Corona Virus cases. The meeting, in consonance with government guidelines, decided to take strong measures to enforce SoPs including social distancing and using of masks. The Deputy Commissioner expressed grave concern over the surge in COVID-19 cases in the District and asked the concerned not to show any laxity in enforcing protocols. The Deputy Commissioner discussed the status of ongoing vaccination drive in the District. He stressed upon the Revenue Officers, including Sub Divisional Magistrates and Tehsildars to immediately call meeting of their subordinate staff to rope in patwaries, Asha Workers, Anganwari Workers, Teachers etc and VLWs for mass spreading awareness among common masses about COVID protocols.
