Hennur-Bagalur Road was touted as the alternative road to Kempegowda International Airport (
KIA). This road was also a shorter distance for those travelling from eastern part of the city. However, now, the road especially near the Hennur Bridge is in a bad condition. There are numerous potholes giving a bumpy ride to the travellers. Despite locals asking the authorities to fix the road, their pleas have fallen on deaf ears.
