about a technicality. an innocent woman who is dead as a result of a procedure break down. what should have happened is if you have got five deportations, seven felonies, you should have your butt out of this country. i don t care about some felony that some city want to prosecute. what about the fact i mean katie, you know, the probable that we are dealing with this on the local level is because the federal government has never figured out this immigration stuff. i mean, we have got washington fighting over it. which then enables san francisco to do what it wants and then to blame it on the feds. i mean, the whole thing is just, you know, it s a terrible thing what s going on. and our politicians are failing us. yeah. and that s why i was saying, this is not an issue of race. you know what s really sad is the san francisco mayor when he issued a statement today about this tragic murder said that we need to be helping obama and his immigration policies. like said says, who gives
somebody like scott walker herman cain. they never had to face somebody with that kind of krebltd with the conservative base. i agree. the immigration stuff is really tough. the other issue he was talked about was common core which is a big issue among the republican base. so i think it s tough. you know he s not going to win iowa. i think he has to have a strong showing there to prove he can win over conservative activists and that he s not going to be relying on new hampshire and praying for florida. let me say, i was on the romney campaign i was one of his spokes people. let me tell you what i think is the difference here. i don t think anyone is going to accuse jeb bush on flip-flopping on these issues. he didn t walk away from it. he did not walk away from it all or his immigration position. this isn t a shift the way senator rubio has and so forth. i think this will help him.

immigration and steve king represents those. jeb bush said if you want to run for president you have to lose the primary to win the general election. what exactly does that mean. i think this is an example of that. this is the kind of thing you turn down at your own peril in the primary to make a bigger statement. sure. the other thing to think about with jeb bush if you look at what his route of victory potentially is. he s the pick of the establishment, big business big donors, right? these are the people that willpower him through and help him last through a long time as you go through the various states. those people are a pretty pro-immigration reform constituency so for him to go back and buck one of his big constituentsies here by spouting far right immigration stuff that he doesn t believe in could be politically detrimental to him as well. there s some sort of moral principle that he s exercising. i m saying it s a political calculation. he s making a rational a logical
