IMD Update: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for heavy rainfall in Uttarakhand, with the possibility of blocked roads and power disruptions.
Over the next three days, there is a dense fog warning for certain areas in Punjab, Haryana, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Mizoram, Manipur, and Tripura, as per the weather agency.
From Friday till the end of this week, there may be light to moderate rainfall in several locations along with sporadic thunderstorms and lightning over Kerala, Mahe, and Tamil Nadu.
Today, there is a good chance of isolated areas of light rain and snowfall across Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh, and Uttarakhand. Up until Monday, there's a likelihood of light rain in East Uttar Pradesh and East Rajasthan.
The National Capital will no longer experience rain as of today, according to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) on Tuesday. The weather service had previously stated that Delhi is anticipated to remain in Northwest India until October 17.
