Sunny, warm & breezy
GOOD FRIDAY MORNING EVERYONE.
Today we get to enjoy a nice, but brief break between systems. With plenty of sunshine, our highs will be in the low 60 s. This afternoon, westerly and NW winds will pick up to 10-15 mph, with gusts to 20 mph. Winds will stay pretty gusty through the night. Skies will stay mostly clear, but we may see an isolated snowflake or two. Lows will be scattered through the 20 s.
Skies will stay mostly sunny Saturday and we will be left with some cool and windy conditions. Highs will be in the mid to upper 40 s and NW winds at 15-25 mph will gust as high as 20-25 mph. Winds will become light out of the west Saturday night and skies will continue to clear. Under sunny skies, highs will hit the mid 50 s Sunday and the warm up will continue from there. Skies will stay clear and we will be in the mid to upper 60 s by Thursday.
Cool & breezy
GOOD THURSDAY MORNING EVERYONE.
A low pressure center well to our north will be responsible for pulling chilly air into the Pacific NW today. Our skies will be mostly sunny, but our highs will only reach the upper 40 s to low 50 s. Winds out of the west and NW will pick up to 10-20 mph this afternoon, with some seeing gusts to 25 mph. Winds become light and variable this evening. Under clear skies, our overnight lows will be in the low to mid 20 s.
We will be on a bit of a temperature roller-coaster for the next few days: sunny and low 60 s Friday, mostly sunny and around 50 Saturday, sunny and mid 50 s Sunday. We have plenty of sunshine and a warming trend in the forecast going through next week. By Wednesday, we will see highs in the mid to upper 60 s.
Wind & thicker clouds
GOOD WEDNESDAY MORNING EVERYONE.
The advance of a system from the Gulf of Alaska will give us some clouds by the end of the day. It will also ramp up our winds across the region. With plenty of sunshine through most of the day, we will see highs in the low 60 s. Winds out of the west and SW will reach 15-20 mph, with gusts to 30 mph. It will stay windy tonight under mostly cloudy skies. Areas from Redmond and Sisters north will see a chance of some snow showers. Lows will be in the mid 20 s to lows 30 s.
NICE DAY!
GOOD TUESDAY, EVERYONE.
With high pressure dominating the weather picture for the Pacific NW, we can expect one very sunny, warm day today. Highs will be in the mid to upper 60 s and breezes will be gentle out of the NW. Skies will stay clear tonight and breezes will become light and variable after midnight. Overnight lows will range from the mid 20 s to low 30 s.
More sunny, warm conditions will prevail Wednesday. A system centered well to the north will deliver some clouds Wednesday night, but the chance of any showers from those clouds is minimal. We will be left with mostly sunny skies and cooler temperatures Thursday. We will see sunny skies Friday, but another stronger system will close in Friday night and give us a chance at some snow showers into Saturday morning. The passage of this system will make for a breezy day Saturday into Saturday night. This system will pass quickly and we will get some clearing Saturday afternoon. It will be chilly Saturday, but we wil
